US users flock to laptops as Apple preps Oct. 14 Mac upgrade.
Apple's laptops are increasingly popular, new models next month Apple has become the fourth biggest laptop manufacturer in the US - even as strong rumours predict the company will refresh its laptop range at a special event on October 14.

iPod upgrades to tempt 20 million Windows users to Mac - analyst.
Needham & Co sees continues Windows to Mac migration Apple's iPod is clearly becoming less compelling as a product range - but will still deliver 20 million Windows switchers a year to the Apple fold, an analyst said last night.
